Nae limits for
Soap box project inspires mathematicians

S2 pupils for the ‘Maths wi nae borders’ competition. It
posed a fun week for our maths class, differing
from our usual topic and encouraging teamwork

Glorious September weather allowed S2 to
visit Edinburgh’s extinct volcano in Holyrood
Park. Exploring local geology and land uses,
pupils then put forward proposals for a
GeoMission. This involved choosing options
on how to develop or protect the Park should
