The Poem at Check-In Desk 9¾

P5 Poetry Club scaffolded a poem inspired by The Poem at Check-in Desk 56, written by Irish
                     poet Colette Bryce.
The poem at Check-In Desk 9¾ emptied out his pockets.
He found his wand and spell book filled with magical adjectives.
He removed other unwanted items; a samurai sword,
Old commas, a parchment and quill.
The poem had brought his curiosity
So no-one could interfere with his questions.

The poem had also packed his own verses
So no-one could interfere with his spellings,
And packed his own book so no-one could interfere with his words
                     Or his moral.
He headed to the first-class lounge, casually dropping
Some creative words, paper, rubbers and pencils along the way.
