10. Posting Scores:
Players are responsible for reporting the results
of each round of golf promptly after each match
or round of play. The scorecard shall be signed
by the scorer and attested by another player in
the playing group. Players must post scores
when playing courses other than their home
course. Players are not prohibited from playing
alone, only from posting solo-round scores for
handicap purposes.
11. Leaving the Course During Play:
Any player participating in a sanctioned women’s
golf tournament may not leave the golf course for
any reason other than for illness or weather
occurrence. Stopping at the Pro Shop area
(starter station, pro shop, restroom and drink
area) is permitted. Restrooms on the course are
also permitted. Any golfer who leaves the golf
course for any reason other than those listed
above may be disqualified for the tournament.
This may also be used as a basis to bar you from
future tournaments.
12. Tournament Participation:
a. In order to participate in the Bocaire Cup and
President’s Cup each player must be a
member of the Ladies’ League. Within a 12-
month period, anyone who signs up to
participate in the 18 hole Bocaire Cup or 18
hole President’s Cup must have participated in
three 18-hole league tournaments when the
score is able to be posted. Anyone who signs
up to participate in the 9-hole President’s Cup
or 9-hole Bocaire Cup must have participated
in three 9-hole league tournaments when the
score is able to be posted.
b. A current USGA handicap is needed to enter
the Women’s Club Championship. A current
USGA handicap is maintained by posting six
18-hole scores over the past 90 days. Players
participating in the 9 hole Club Championship
must have posted six 9-hole scores over the
past 90 days. Players participating in the
Championship flight will play from the red tees.
Neither coaching or caddying are permitted
during tournament play.
13. Pace of Play:
Players are expected to play 18 holes in four
(4) hours and thirty (30) minutes. It is each
player’s responsibility to monitor her group’s
pace of play, and depending on the size of the
field five (5) hour rounds will not be tolerated
