Down the Middle

We realize many of you have gone to northern parts of the country or are traveling throughout
the summer, but we still have many Members and Sponsored Guests enjoying Bocaire during the
warmer months. And although we certainly slow down during this time, I want to make those of

you who will be here, aware of a few things still on the calendar for the summer.

First of all, we still have some Mixed Golf Events coming up in the next few months. Make plans
to register for the Labor Day Mixed Event (Saturday, September 4 ), which will be

morning shotguns at 9:00 a.m. We will also have a Mixed 9-hole Event on Friday afternoon, July
23 at 4:00 p.m.

Also in July, Bocaire CC will be hosting the South Florida PGA Pro-Scratch Championship on
Thursday and Friday, July 29 & 30 . This event will allow us to showcase Bocaire to

approximately 100 two-person teams which are comprised of one PGA Professional and one
scratch handicap amateur (low single digit). These will be some of the best golfers in all of South
Florida and will be a great conduit to expose our beautiful facility, most of whom have never
experienced the new golf course at Bocaire.

I am sure most of you are aware, but as a reminder, the golf course and practice facilities will be
closed for scheduled annual maintenance from August 2 through August 17 and re-open on

Wednesday, August 18 . During this time, the golf shop will also be closed, allowing staff to take
th
some vacation during the down time. We will not be accepting or returning phone calls during this
time; however, we will be able to receive emails and will reply in a timely fashion (usually the same
day).

Other than during the golf course and golf shop closure period, we will continue to have great
merchandise in the golf shop at great Member pricing. Do not forget to stop in the golf shop and
see all the new product as we continue to bring in exciting merchandise. We will continue to listen

to your input, use our Professional knowledge, and work diligently to find great new products to
make the golf shop your 1-stop shopping experience. As the members continue their support, we
will be able to continue in our quest to obtain status as one of the best golf shops in the country.

As always, remember that you Professional Staff is here for you. Please let my staff or me know if
there is anything that we can do to help you enjoy your little piece of Heaven on Earth here at
Bocaire Country Club.
