A3. Each sentence has one mistake. Correct it.

1. It was wonderful weekend.

2. On Sunday I called with my parents.

6. Saturday in the morning I got up at 10:00.
7. I got up at 11:00. And then I had breakfast.

8. I got up early. After I had breakfast.

B. Past tense questions

1. Be (was/were + S or wh- words + was/were + S or wh- words + be)
Past tense questions are like present tense questions, but we use the past tense of be (was/were).
She was at the beach yesterday.
Was she at the beach yesterday?
Where was she yesterday?
Who was at the beach yesterday?
2. Other verbs (did + S + SV or wh- word + did + S +SV or wh- word + V)
Past tense questions with other verbs are like present tense questions but we use the past of do
(did). Use the simple form of the other verb.
He went to Japan last summer.
Did he go to Japan last summer?
Where did he go last summer?
Who went to Japan last summer?
