Social media including Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn are transforming traditional marketing media, such as newspapers, magazines, radio, and television, from passive mass communication to interactive personalized communication. Social media are also transforming Word of Mouth (WOM) from having local in uence to global in uence. Since user-generated content will in uence the future value of brands, managing user opinions and experiences will be key to future survival and success.
