5K & 5-Mile JACOBS PAVILION AT NAUTICA
“ Look around you. A lot
of great characters in the
legal community, a lot of
great costumes, just people
out to have a good time!”
CMBF President Patrick Krebs says
our Halloween Run for Justice is one
of his favorite events. This year’s 18th
annual run on Saturday, October 26th
gave us all plenty to love. The weather
was perfect as more than 400 runners
participated in our five mile and 5K runs
and our one mile walk around The Flats
and downtown.
The Cavs PowerHouse Dance Team helped
us to rock Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica, along
with DJ Yulissa. Kids and adults enjoyed
crafts, games and Halloween treats.
Our sponsors and runners helped raise
more than $40,000 for the Cleveland
Metropolitan Bar Foundation. “This
event really helps us to keep our pro
bono programs going,” said CMBF VP of
Special Events, Lee Ann O’Brien. “Our
Louis Stokes Scholars, The 3Rs (Rights,
Responsibilities and Realities), and the
high school mock trial competitions
that we offer.”
