Fellows Nicholas A. DiCello
Nick Dicello is carrying on a tradition of leadership. “I started my
legal clerking for Judge John Manos who is a grandfather of The
Bar in our community. I started off recognizing how important it is
FEATURE to be involved in the local bar.”
Nick is deeply involved as a Silver Fellow and a board member for the
Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation. As a partner at Spangenberg,
Shibley & Liber, Nick believes it’s his responsibility to carry on a tradi-
tion of financial contributions, but also of participation. Nick’s firm has
a place of honor on CMBA’s wall as a Founding Fellow and is one of
the largest supporters of our endowment. “When I first got invited to
become a Fellow, I did some research and looking into it. I saw some
of the names on the list and frankly, we have a lot of distinguished
folks. I think we need more folks to contribute at that level.”
Nick is passionate about our programs including The 3Rs and Stokes
Scholars, helping young people reach their potential. “It’s really the vol-
unteers, lawyers included, who make its happen. It’s the actual programs
that are delivering what a charitable organization should be doing.”
“In today’s day and age we are con-
stantly being solicited for money,”
Nick says. “How do you really know
what your dollars are doing? I think
The Bar does a nice job of keeping
its programs front and center.”
Thank you, Nick, for your leadership
and support. Lawyers Giving Back
