                 FOR ExCELLENCE IN COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AND ENGAGEMENT



                              2019 RECIPIENT

                                                            Karen M. Paganini, President and Chief
                                                            operating officer of The K&D Group, will be receiving
                                                            the Richard W. Pogue Award for Excellence in Community
                                                            Leadership and Engagement. K&D is Northeast ohio’s largest
                                                            privately owned property management and development
                                                            firm, which owns and manages a diverse portfolio spanning
                                                            39 properties and consisting of nearly 11,000 residential
                                                            units. K&D is known for its extensive involvement in the
                                                            renovation and redevelopment of some of Cleveland’s most
                                                            iconic buildings, including the transformation of the Hanna
                                                            Annex building in Playhouse Square, the Halle Building, the
                                                            Leader Building, the Residences at 668, and the Residences
                                                            at 1717.  K&D is currently redeveloping the prominent
                                                            Terminal Tower building into luxury residential suites.  The
                                                            historic Keith Building and Post office Plaza are part of
                                                            more than one million square feet of K&D commercial
                                                            properties. Ms. Paganini cares about the historic restoration
                                                            of Cleveland’s underutilized buildings and takes pride in
                                                            restoring and preserving Cleveland’s history. Ms. Paganini also
                                                            gives back to the community through her involvement with
                                                            the Downtown Cleveland Alliance and K&D’s support of
                                                            numerous charitable organizations.
