國立臺中教育大學教授退休，曾任國立臺中教育
大學美勞學系主任、臺中市公共藝術評議委員、
中部美術協會理事長；全省美展顧問、評議及評
審委員；國美館諮詢、典藏評審委員；臺中市大
墩美展籌備及評審委員等。榮獲IFA國際美展金
牌、中興文藝獎章、中華民國畫學會金爵獎、公
教美展連續3年第一名等。應邀百年百畫展、中
日友好展、中法聯展等。現任中部美術協會、五
月畫會評議委員。個展24次。2021年獲國立臺灣
美術館出版《家庭美術館－美術家傳記叢書》。
2023年獲邀國立國父紀念館「中山國家畫廊」個
展及教育部頒「美術教育終身成就」獎座。
Chang, Shu-Mei

Ms. Chang is a retired professor from National Taichung
University of Education (NTCU); and was the director
of Fine Arts Department in NTCU; a board member of
Taichung City Public Arts Committee; the president of
Central Taiwan Fine Arts Association; a consultant, board
member, and juror for the Taiwan Provincial Fine Arts
Exhibition; a member of the advisory committee and
collection committee for National Taiwan Museum of Fine
Arts; and also a preparatiory committee member and a
juror for Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of Taichung City. She
won a Gold Medal at the International Fine Art Association
Exhibition, the Zhong-Xing Literature and Arts Award,
and the National Gold Statue Prize in Traditional Chinese
Painting Association and First Prize for three consecutive
years in the Taiwan Provincial Civil Officers Art Exhibition.
She has also been invited to exhibit her artworks at the
following events: Paintings Celebrating the Centenary of
the ROC, China-Japan Friendship Art Exhibition and China-
France Joint Art Exhibition. Currently a review committee
member of the Central Taiwan Fine Arts Association and
Fifth Moon Group. She has held 24 solo Exhibitions. In
2021, her auto biography were published under the Gallery
at Home: artist biography publication series by National
Taiwan Museum of Arts. In 2023, she is invited to held
her solo exhibition at the Chungshan National Gallery of
National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, and awarded
the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Ministry of
Education’s 2023 Art Education Contribution Awards..
