畢業於東海大學美術系研究所，
第55屆全省美展油畫類第一名，
第56屆全省美展油畫類優選，第
7屆大墩美展油畫類優選，2005
年於臺中縣立文化中心（今臺中
市葫蘆墩文化中心）舉辦《悠閒
自得－陳美英的浪漫詩畫》個
展。
With a M.F.A. degree from Tunghai
University, Ms. Chen won First Prize
for her oil painting at the 55th Taiwan
Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition as well
as the Merit Award at the 56th Taiwan
Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition and an
Award of Merit at the 7th Da Dun Fine
Arts Exhibition of Taichung City. She
held a solo exhibition, titled "Leisurely
and Carefree-Romantic Paintings of
Chen Mei-Ying," at the Taichung County
Cultural Center (now is the Taichung City
Huludun Cultural Center) in 2005.
