弱冠即留心翰墨，至今仍臨池不輟，五十後
以墨之為號。創作以行草為主，旁及篆隸，
尤著力於北碑，具有碑帖鎔鑄之個人書風。
作品曾獲臺中縣美展連續三年前三名（1995-
1997）、中部美展第一名（2006）、全省美
展優選（2005）及大墩美展優選（1996、
1997、2005），參與2006年藝術薪火相傳－
第18屆臺中縣美術家接力展，書法個展多
次。

Mr. Zhan started his calligraphy journey at the age of 20
and he is still practicing calligraphy with great passion.
After he turned 50, he took Mozhi as his calligrapher's
name, and focused mainly on semi-cursive script while
also using the seal script and clerical script sometimes.
He has put great effort into creating works based on
the steles from the Northern dynasties of the Northern
and Southern Dynasties period, and is in the pursuit of
creating a personal style that fuses the style of paper
calligraphy works with that of the calligraphy found on
steles. He placed in the top three in the Taichung County
Art Exhibition for three consecutive years (1995-1997).
Also, he won First Prize at the Arts Exhibition of Taiwan
Central in 2006, as well as Awards of Merit at the Taiwan
Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition in 2005 and at the Da
Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of Taichung City in 1996, 1997,
and 2005. He has held solo exhibitions many times, and
participated in the 18th Art Inheritance Taichung County
Artist’s Relay Exhibition in 2006.
