生於澎湖，私立中原理工學院畢業，國立豐原高中
教師退休。先後在彰師大、山線社大、臺中女中、
豐原高中、豐陽國中等校演講及教學。臺中縣逍遙
藝會及臺中市逍遙藝術學會理事長、中華甲骨文學
會理事。2010年前後受邀在臺中縣立文化中心，
國立歷史博物館舉辦篆刻個展。2018年榮獲臺中
市資深優秀美術家。書法篆刻個展16次，出版畫
冊8本，2021年《ART．豐原2021藝術家邀請展：
刀筆爭輝－高連永書法篆刻硯銘印石展》。

Born in Penghu, Mr. Gao graduated from a private university,
Chung Yuan Christian College of Science and Engineering.
He retired as a teacher at National Feng-Yuan Senior High
School. He has often lectured about and taught calligraphy and
seal engraving as a guest speaker at institutions such as the
National Changhua University of Education, Mountain Route
Community College, Taichung Girls’ Senior High School, Feng-
Yuan Senior High School, and Feng-Yang Junior High School.
He is the board director for both Taichung County Xiao Yao Art
Association and Taichung City Xiao Yao Art Association. He
is also a board member of the Chinese Oracle Association. In
2010, he was invited to hold solo seal engraving exhibitions at
the Taichung County Cultural Center and the National Museum
of History. In 2018, he was given the Outstanding Senior Artist
Award by the Taichung City Government. He has held 16 solo
exhibitions on calligraphy and seal engraving, and published 8
books. In 2021, he held a solo exhibition entitled Where Blade
Meets Brush: An Exhibition of Calligraphy, Seal Engraving,
and Inkstone Carving by Gao Lian-Yong at the Taichung City
Huludun Cultural Center.
