Hsu, Wen-Jung
Currently, Mr. Hsu is a professor and dean of the College of Design
at Chienkuo Technology University as well as the curator of the
university's art museum. He is also a visiting professor at Peking
University. He has won numerous awards, including Outstanding
Alumni of National Taiwan University of Arts in 2005, the 11th Annual
Global Chinese Culture and Arts Award, Golden Hand Award of the
40th Annual National Cultural and Arts Award of Top Ten Outstanding
Young Artists, the 25th Wu San-Lien Awards, Zhung-Shan Medal
in Arts, Zhong-Xing Literature and Arts Award, and First Prize in
traditional chinese painting at the 43rd, 45th, 46th, and 47th Taiwan
Provincial Fine Arts Exhibition (for which he was granted Permanent
Exemption status). He has held over 70 solo exhibitions at various
venues on both sides of Taiwan Strait (including Shanghai Art
Museum, Xiamen Art Gallery, Peking University, Guan Shanyue Art
Museum, Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, National Museum
of History, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, Taipei Fine Arts
Museum, and Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum) as well as in
France,Japan, Australia and Malaysia. He has also published a total
of fifteen volumes of Collection of Hsu Wen-Jung’s Works.
