Ruan, Qiu-Yuan
Mr. Ruan placed first prize in sculpture category at the
2004 Hualien Art Exhibition and his work Looking for
a Dream was collected by the Hualien County Cultural
Affairs Bureau in 2007. In 2010, he created dharma
public art for the Taichung Prison. He created the
public art piece “Reading Development” for Taichung
City Wuqi Junior High School in 2015. In 2019, he
was commissioned by the Taichung Municipal Wufeng
Agricultural and Industrial High School to create a
piece of public art, named Distant Source and Long
Stream, which became part of the school's collection
and was displayed in 2020.
