Huang, Ying-Pu
Mr. Huang was born in Changhua and graduated with a
master’s from Feng Chia University’s Executive Master of
Business Administration Program. An all-round self-taught
sculptor, he founded the Huang Ying-Pu Sculpture Office in
1981. His creative field ranges from concrete figuration, to
abstract work, to religious imagery, in a three dimensional
space. Given enough space for thought, technique and
mind become a symbiotic body. Skill without heart is an
uncontrollable storm, but heart without skill is the seasons
without cold and heat. These aspects of art are our
stepping stones to Dafa. Life starts; life ends. The start of
life is nothing to fear. The only thing to fear is that we do
not make enough preparation before we die; we will then
lose the opportunity to have a carefree destiny in this time
and space.
