Liao, Ying-Hsi
Ms. Liao graduated with a master's degree from Tunghai University
Department of Fine Arts. She is now a PhD candidate at the University
of Liege. She is currently the art director of the Huachengarts CO.,
LTD. She is also the art advisor for Art WEME Contemporary Gallery in
Singapore and Kuala Lmpar. She is the chairwoman of the Mo Hai Art
Society. Her project Returning to Earth has won the Golden Award of the
2022 NOVUM DESIGN AWARD in the Digital Art and Graphic Design
Category. The same piece also won the Golden Award of the 2023 DNA
Paris Design Award in the Arts and Design Category. By reflection on
life experiences and utilizing traditional classical works as a medium
of transformation, she has employed the contemporary techniques to
portray ancient themes, thereby igniting an unexpected expression for
the viewers. Her work embodies images of love, hope, harmony, and the
concept of time encompassing the present, past, and future. She believes
that by channeling a popular and accessible language, infuses their
passionate engagement with the world, thus highlighting their personal
concerns about the current social environment within the artwork.
