The longest side of the work (the base included) shall not exceed 200 cm; artists should strive to make their
Sculptures, works as lightweight and easy to transport as possible in terms of size and form. For works that are fragile and
5 Crafts intricate, please properly package them with cushioning or acrylic casing for exhibition (please also include
sturdy outer packaging for ease of transport); the works must be light enough for them to be carried by two
(Three-Dimensional) people. For works with multiple components, please include assembly instructions. Works made of fragile
materials such as gypsum are not accepted. Guidelines
The width of the work should not exceed 120 cm after it has been set up on the wall of the exhibition venue.
6 Photography The size of the unframed work should be between 31 cm and 61 cm inclusive.
Works in wooden or aluminum frames are accepted; those with glass panels are not.

VII. Participation Regulations:
i. Participating artists are required to personally deliver their artworks and retrieve them at the closing of the exhibition.
ii. Each individual is limited to one artwork.
iii. Artworks submitted for the exhibition must have been created within the past three years.
VIII. Date and Time for Submission of Works: May 3 and 4 (Friday and Saturday), 2024. 9:00-12:00, 13:30-17:00. Late submissions will not
be accepted.
IX. Date and Time for Return of Works: August 30 and 31 (Friday and Saturday), 2024. 9:00-12:00, 13:30-17:00. (The organizer is not
responsible for the works that are not claimed on time)
The organizer will send back the works by artists over age 80.
X. Location for Submission and Return of Works:
Warehouse A, Dadun Cultural Center (04-23727311 ext. 237).

XI. Work Safety and Insurance
i. Insurance: During the exhibition, from the day of submission to the day of return, all works in the photography category are insured
for NTD 10,000, while works in all other categories are insured for NTD 100,000. In the case that any damages occur, the insured
amount will be the maximum amount of compensation, and the author of the work shall not object.
ii. The organizer will be responsible for any damage to the artworks except in the case of: the occurrence of circumstances beyond
their control, the artwork being of inferior structure , the material used to make the artwork is fragile, or no instructions are given as
to how the boxes should be unpacked.
XII. All participants of the exhibition will receive two exhibition albums and one certificate of gratitude from the organizer.
XIII. When in case a participant is found to have plagiarized the works or infringed the copyrights or rights and benefits of a third person,
the organizer may disqualify the participant upon confirmation. The said participant shall be held responsible for all legal liabilities and
compensations that may arise from dispute of copyrights and infringement of rights.
XIV. The participants authorize the organizer the rights to use the submitted works for non-profiting purposes, such as research,
art education, and art promotion in the forms of photography, publication, exhibition, print, research, promotion, advertisement,
digitalization, posting on website, and production of video and audio materials with no restrictions of time, place, number of times, and
method. These rights include: public display rights, reproduce rights, compilation rights, public presentation rights, public recitation
rights, public performance rights, public transmission rights, public broadcast rights, and distribution rights; the author may not
exercise moral rights towards the organizer.
XV. Participants shall not raise objection regarding the exhibition’s display of works and the compilation and printing methods of the
album.
XVI. Participants agree that visitors may take photographs of the works, provided that they do not use a flash.
XVII. Sending works to the exhibition translates into understanding of the rules and consent to abide.
XVIII. For any matters not provided for in the rules, the organizer reserves the rights to make amendments and additions anytime it deems
appropriate, and make public announcements on the Dadun Cultural Center website.
