Janet Chen
Ms. Chen was an apprentice of He Mu-Huo, who had
the nickname “Pilgrim of Ink Painting.” She also earned
First Prize in the ink painting category at the 15th
Yushan Art Exhibition, an Award of Merit in the eastern
media category at Nanying Awards, Second Prize at
the 32nd Taoyuan Fine Arts Exhibition, the QuanXing
Award in ink painting and eastern gouache category
at the 16th Huangsi Art Exhibition, Distinguished
Honor Award at Pu Yu Art Exhibition in 2016, Award
of Excellence in the western media category at
Keelung Art Exhibition in 2017. She won Third Prize
at the Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition of Taichung City in
2019, and her works “Wandering in Bamboo Forest”
and “Bamboos in Morning Light” were acquired by
Art Bank. She was the second runner-up of the 14th
Wanhe Fine Arts Exhibition in 2022. She is the winner
of the 16th Wanhe Fine Arts Exhibition in 2024.
