of the people through income and support. This will allow individuals and businesses to
temporarily stop work without adversely affecting their ability to continue to dissolve.

and individuals bounce back.
• High political demands will be required. Some policy responses may require falsification or
changes of certain laws through special or emergency parliamentary sessions
• Active labor market policies play an important role in helping the workforce to adapt to changing
labor market demand in various sectors of the economy.
• Cooperation and coordination are key. At the multilateral and regional levels, collaboration will be
important not only to exchange information on COVID-19 and prevent cross-border transmission
but also on broader issues such as debt management, technological innovation and transfer, and
crisis preparedness.
