The impacts of COVID-19 on Malaysia's economy are often seen via high percent and
depreciation in Malaysian ringgit against USD. In 2019, the share of Malaysia is 3.3% which
suggests there are 508,200 individuals unemployed. The COVID-19 pandemic has heavily
affected the Malaysian economy. This could be shown by comparing the percent in Malaysia. In
January 2020, the percent is 3.2% but there's endless increase in 10 may 2020 and it reaches
5.3%. This is often not an honest phenomenon because there's a negative trend within the labour
demand . This can be often shown in the picture below.
