I like my school here, I have many friends here. I play Gaelic
football [at the weekend].
I speak English, Greek, French and I am learning Irish. I don’t have
any memories of moving to Brussels. In our house, I have this place
upstairs where I keep all of my toys. When I want to relax, I go to
my bed or the TV room and I sleep on the couch, or we have this
chair that you can lie down on. My school is far from here so I take
the school bus really early in the morning. I have lunch at school
and sometimes, when my mummy comes from work, we have more
lunch at home. I sometimes have friends for play dates and
sleepovers. And it is also fun when I go to birthday parties to my
friends’.
I have a friend, she is half Danish and half Polish but she also
speaks English. She is really nice. And I also have a friend from
England, she is also very nice. We travel a lot. I have been to
Greece, Ireland; we went to Spain for holiday. We also went to
Poland and Germany. But I like Brussels the most. And second is
Ireland. And then Poland.
I don’t have any friends in Ireland because I did not go to school
there. I was supposed to go to a Maternelle [Ed. nursery school] but
they did not have any there.
Here in Brussels, I do swimming and I like to go to a park and buy
ice cream and watch dogs. It can be really hot here in the summer.
My daddy works all day. He makes videos and then he sends them to
people. [i.e. on Twitter]. My mammy also works all day and
sometimes I get to go to her work and eat lunch there.
This last Christmas was my first Christmas in Brussels. Because
normally we go to Ireland for Christmas but this year the flights
were really expensive so we stayed here. In Ireland we get to go to
other people’s houses.
There is loads of stuff I want to do when I am a grown up. I want to
be a vet or work in a café, or I want to be a hairdresser, or a pilot.
I would feel sad if I had to move out of Brussels. But if we moved to
London, I would be happy because I have a friend who lives there.
And I could also see the (UK) Queen’s castle every day. And schools
would be also nice because I speak the same language.
