Qualitative Measures

» Mentoring time – Mentoring is the sharing of knowledge, experience, and skills
in the workplace to help junior employees reach their full potential in time. This
KPI measures the extent to which senior team members are willing to mentor
junior team members. Time spent focusing on team Individual Development
Plans is an excellent measure of this metric if your team doesn’t have a defined
                                       mentorship model.
» Collaboration – Collaboration is defined as working together with other team
members to produce an outcome or complete a project. The more team members
collaborate, the quicker the project will be completed, and the more successful it
will be. This KPI tracks and measures how well team members collaborate with
                                       each other.
» Customer feedback surveys - tools used by businesses and organizations to
gather valuable insights and opinions from their customers. These surveys typically
consist of a series of questions designed to gather feedback on various aspects of the
customer experience, such as product satisfaction, service quality, or overall brand
                                       perception.
» Employee satisfaction surveys – valuable tools used by organizations to gauge
the overall happiness, engagement, and job satisfaction levels of their employees.
MIL participates in Top Workplaces and Great Place to Work.

        Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

June is an important month for us all. Two national observances occur this month
(Juneteenth and (LGBTQI+) Pride Month) which recognize two communities that
have been historically marginalized. On June 19, 1865, federal troops took control of
the state of Texas to ensure all enslaved people were freed. Considered the longest-
running African American holiday, Juneteenth honors slavery’s end in the U.S.
LGBTQI+ Pride Month is held in June to commemorate the beginning of the modern
LGBTQI+ movement, the anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion.
        Men’s Health Awareness Month
Men’s Health Month focuses on improving the lifestyles of men. Particularly through
        diet and exercise.
        Alzheimer’s Awareness Month
Alzheimer’s disease is a disorder that affects over 6 million people in the United
States. Most are over the age of 65. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of
dementia. It is not a normal part of aging. Alzheimer’s disease impacts memory and
thinking skills. Over time a person loses their ability to do basic tasks and eventually
        needs outside support and care.
        Immigrant Heritage Month
Immigrant Heritage Month is an annual observance that celebrates and honors the
diverse contributions of immigrants to the United States. Throughout the month of
June, individuals, communities, and organizations come together to recognize the rich
cultural, social, and economic impact of immigrants in shaping the nation’s history
        and identity.
