contract wins

         A First for FedServ

MIL is excited to announce our first award under FedServ LLC, a Small Business Administration-approved Mentor Protege
Joint Venture (JV) between MIL and the Blake Willson Group—a licensed CPA firm and 8(a) and Service Disabled Veteran
Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). FedServ was formed to bring the experience and expertise of the two firms together to
pursue opportunities in financial system modernization, intelligent automation, and new technology insertions to optimize
budgeting, accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
As a member of the Cathexis Corp team on the new IDIQ contract with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for
Personnel and Readiness, FedServ will compete for future work among the selected Personnel and Readiness Infrastructure
Support Management (PRISM) contract holders. The PRISM contract will help the Army increase readiness and meet mission
requirements by improving collaboration and integration through
tasks to provide program management, business operations,
security, training, engineering and information security, health
services, logistics, procurement, and lifecycle services. The
Cathexis Corp team will perform classified work under the new
contract. Cathexis Corp is also a SDVOSB.

        In Memoriam

         Ryon Creech

It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our MIL teammate, Ryon Creech.
Ryon supported the Charleston team at the Department of State. Friends and coworkers referred
to him as the data guru and the most knowledgeable on his team regarding GFACS tables and how
to extract the exact data being requested—considering any challenge a puzzle that he had to solve
(which he did)! Always helpful, he was a key member of the Charleston Social Team and brought his
light, dry humor to every meeting and every event. He displayed a willingness to volunteer to help
coordinate logistics, materials, or items needed for an event—and he meant each offer with sincerity
                              and selflessness.
Ryon is a graduate of Georgia Tech but grew up a Clemson fan… we are sure he handled that
challenge with the same grace and humor he brought to any difficult situation. Second only to his
love for his fiancé, Faith, Ryon enjoyed online board games and belonged to several forums. He was always willing to help
fellow gamers with strategy, information, and resources to help others do well at tournaments—even ones he wasn’t attending.
His fiancé Faith is working through pharmaceutical school and Ryon always made it a priority to make time around her
schedule. They were in the midst of planning their upcoming wedding and our hearts and thoughts go out to Faith, Ryon’s
family, and his friends at MIL during this very difficult time.

Information on where you can send expressions of sympathy, along with funeral arrangements, will be conveyed as they are
received. You may wish to seek guidance during this troubling time. Please know that MIL’s Employee Assistance Program is
         available to support you.
