         billing, troubleshoot other billing issues, and best practices for
         billing formulas. As the presenter of the “Costpoint Setups:
         Understanding How Proper Setups Affect Your Billing” session
         at Deltek Insight, Katie offered a closer look at Costpoint setup,
         along with tips and tricks on how to navigate the system. The
         session, which was opened to attendees of all technical levels, and
         had discussed how decisions are made during setup that impact
         billing and revenue recognition. As a MIL’s Time and Expense
         Administrator, Katie also provided practical solutions to everyday
         Costpoint situations to the almost 200 session attendees.





         HDI one-day Leadership Conference & Vendor Expo


         MIL was pleased to sponsor and participate in this year’s Help
         Desk Institute (HDI) One Day Leadership Conference & Vendor
         Expo, which took place October 18, 2019 in Washington DC. The
         event was organized by HDI’s Capital Area Local Chapter, a non-
         profit chapter of HDI. HDI is the premier worldwide membership
         association for the IT Service and Technical Support industry,
         serving the DC metro area, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
         Along with providing opportunities to mingle, converse, and
         network with industry colleagues, this year’s conference included
         informational sessions such as “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
         in the Modern Technology Workplace” and “Managing an
         Exceptional Multi-Generational Team,” as well as a “Women in
         Technology” discussion panel.
