Raising funds to find a cure

This past October the Corporate Service Center offices joined forces with Custom Ink and
the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. to raise over $1,000 in honor of Breast Cancer
Awareness Month. The team in Tysons Corner, Lexington Park, and Bowie teamed up to
raise money to help end this horrible disease. According to the National Breast Cancer
Foundation, Inc. in 2019, an estimated 268,600 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be
diagnosed in women in the U.S. as well as 62,930 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer.
An estimated nearly 3,000 cases will be found in men. Other than skin cancer, breast cancer
is the most comment cancer in American women, with over 3.5 million survivors across
the United States. This month, the Corporate Service Center took the time to honor the
fighters and survivors and remember the heroes. Be sure to check out our Instagram story

         MIL sponsors the Hyattsville

         Zombie Run!

MIL was pleased to support the Hyattsville Elementary Zombie
Run 5k as a premiere sponsor for the third year in a row! The
event took place Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Magruder Park in
Hyattsville, MD. Organized by the Hyattsville Elementary School
PTA, all proceeds benefit the school and are used to purchase
art supplies, instruments, coats for kids, classroom supplies, and
         more.
Participants chose from three fun-filled races (5K/1K/1M) and
all entrants received a Hyattsville Zombie Run T-shirt, goody
bag, and finish line food and drink. Five of our MIL teammates
participated in the 5K race, while three others staffed the MIL
booth where they greeted participants and handed out goodies.
Cory Churches said a few words on behalf of MIL before the
event and officially kicked off the race before joining in the run
         herself.
Overall, it was a wonderful day spent supporting the local
community, having fun with MIL colleagues, and getting into the
         Halloween spirit!
