The Wolf

The wolf chronotype is equivalent to the classic night owl and is believed to make up approximately 15% of the
population. Traits typically related to eveningness include neuroticism and openness.

        The Dolphin

The dolphin chronotype is based on the ability of real dolphins to stay alert even while sleeping. Human “dolphins”
        are best described as insomniacs.

                                    Accommodating Employees with Sleep Disorders

Several types of sleep disorders exist and have various symptoms. Insomnia, sleep
apnea, narcolepsy, and restless legs syndrome are among the most common. Sleep
disorders are neurological conditions that change the way you sleep. They can affect
general health, safety, and quality of life. Sleep deprivation can affect your ability to
drive safely and increase your risk of other health problems.

As supervisors, how can you support an employee who is diagnosed with a sleep
