Rosalba (Rose) Rojas
Rosalba Rojas (Rose) has joined MIL as the new Human Resources Coordinator. Rose’s
responsibilities will range from new employee onboarding to benefits support. Rose’s most recent
experience was in the maritime and restaurant industries, and she is skilled in the onboarding
process. She prides herself on building authentic relationships and ensuring all new hires
have a welcoming experience. Rosalba earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and
Management from Berkeley College in NYC and is currently working to obtain her SHRM-CP.
Rosalba is still a new MD resident who likes to play volleyball, nap with her cats, and challenge
people to an occasional game of UNO.
World Mental Health Day: Oct. 10, 2021
The theme for this year’s World Mental Health Day is “Mental Health in an Unequal
World.” The focus is on the issues that perpetuate mental health inequality locally and
globally. This campaign provides us an opportunity to come together and act together
to highlight how inequalities can be addressed to ensure people are able to enjoy good
mental health. and assign a buddy within the department to assist with immersing the
new hire to MIL’s culture.
