Grow while you're at home: Short-term training options
The COVID-19 pandemic has given all of us the opportunity to spend more time at home. You may be reconnecting with your loved
ones, cleaning out that closet you have been meaning to get to forever, or exploring new learning opportunities. For those seeking
professional development activities during this time, we are pleased to offer a new, shorter-term MILTON enrollment option. With
60-days of access to MIL’s full course catalog in Percipio (instead of the standard one-year commitment), this option allows anyone who
wants short-term training access to our content to learn new skills or perfect old ones.
Completion of these courses counts towards training awards so remember to save your completion certificate and submit it to
MILTON@milcorp.com. In addition, you may receive a downloadable digital badge to verify your accomplishment so that you can
share your achievements on social media and via email with your manager. You must download these files before your 60 days expire
- after the 60 days you will be unable to access content or records. MIL will not have admin/reporting access so you must remember to
print certificates of completion and/or digital badges within the given timeframe.
Of course, you can still take advantage of our standard one-year offering, best for employees who are planning long-term training (i.e.,
you are working on a certification). This enrollment requires employees to commit to a few requirements, listed below.
Enrollment Requirements
» Complete at least the minimum number of courses required. If enrollment occurs between January and May, a
minimum of five courses must be completed by December 31st of that year. If enrollment occurs between June and
September, a minimum of four courses must be completed by December 31st of that year.
» Complete each course. To receive a course completion, you must view all videos within a course and receive a score
of 80% or higher on the test. Although the use of all practice labs, books, book summaries, and audiobooks is highly
encouraged, using these resources do not count as a course completion.
» Take at least one course from the Professional Improvement Library. The courses in this library help to enhance your
business communications skills, maximize productivity, and improve well-being.
