The only information we now have regarding WINFORT comes from a notation in the family bible,
“infant daughter of J.E. ? E.L. FOY died 2/23/1893".
VII ÇWILLIAM QUITMAN FOY (1894-1898)
The family bible has the notation “born 1/29/1894; died 3/23/1898".
Discussions over the years from family members indicates that WILLIAM died as a result of drinking
lye water.
