Society, also an alumnus is chairing a
committee of high-level experts as part of a new
scientific initiative to analyse the emerging data
from countries around the world to identify the
most important factors that can help slow the
spread of coronavirus as well as find long-term
solutions to the pandemic through “DELVE: Data
Evaluation and Learning for Viral Epidemics" a
multi-disciplinary group, convened by the Royal
Society, to support a data-driven approach to

Chancellor of Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna
Verma Kachchh University, Bhuj for a term of 3
years or it he attains the age of 65 whichever is
earlier. Mr. Jadeja was awarded "The Best
Professor of Marketing" by ET NOW in "National
Education Leadership Awards" in the year 2013.

Baroda, has been selected in this team of the

Emerging Research Award
Ms. Vashima Veerkumar, Temporary Assistant
Professor, Department of Family and Community Resource
Management, Faculty of Family and Community Sciences, was
awarded "Emerging Research Award" for her paper
presentation at International Conference on Contemporary
Trends in Management Technology and Engineering organised
by Indian Academicians and Researchers Association on 18
April 2020 under the guidance of Prof. Neerja Jaiswal.

Poetry Recitation Competition
It was a moment to rejoice as two of
our students Poonam Khade a Diploma
student in Russian won the 1st prize and Rida
Shamsi a Post Diploma student in Russian
won the 2nd prize in the International Online
Poetry Recitation Competition organized by
Centre of Russian Studies, JNU, New Delhi
on the 25th April 2020 and received high
applause from Jury, Professors and other
participants.
