          Airdrops

Besides the significant capital gains that come with
holding EOS tokens, there are other dividends in the
          form of airdrops.

Airdrops are one of the weird wonders of the 21st
century. Who would have thought that entrepreneurs
and developers would bribe you to use their
products? That is the reality of the world we live in
          today.

It’s common practice for crypto projects to airdrop
their tokens to prospective users just to get their
attention and tempt them to do more research and
eventually pay more attention to their projects.

If you hold EOS tokens, you get airdrops from any
app that is built on EOS. At the time of writing this
book, there are over 200 applications built on EOS
and these applications have their own native tokens.
