Bitcoin was the first application of blockchain
technology. Satoshi created bitcoin after the financial
crisis in 2008, the goal of bitcoin was to be an
electronic peer to peer system that gave users the
ability to transact in a decentralized manner.

Bitcoin can be classified as a dApp that is meant for
money management and transfer. Other dApp that fit
into these categories include alternative
cryptocurrencies like EOS, BOS and so on. By
eliminating middlemen and enhancing security,
blockchain makes money management and transfer
more efficient. EOS Tokens can also be placed in this
category because it can be used as a medium of
exchange.
