PCGNY Delivers Consular Services to Filipino-Americans in Rhode Island
The Philippine Consulate General New York (PCGNY)
returned to Rhode Island last 22 to 23 July to provide passport, legal,
dual citizenship, and civil registry services to the Filipino community at
the Elks Lodge in Newport. The outreach was organized by the
PCGNY in cooperation with Fil-Am of Newport, Lingkod Timog, and Fil
-Am Community of South Coast MA.
More than 100 applicants availed of the consular services
during the weekend, and 36 voters registered for Overseas Voting in
preparation for the 2019 elections. PAG-IBIG Fund set up an
information booth to update members on their investment options.
The team was headed by Vice Consul Khrystina Corpuz,
accompanied by Mr Bong Delos Santos, Ms Fe Dumaguit, Ms Mayette Three community organizations collaborated to co-organize the Consular
