Glossary
Regret (v): to feel sorry about a situation, especially something
sad or wrong or a mistake that you have made.
Realize (v): to understand a situation, sometimes suddenly
Rub (v): to press or be pressed against something with a circular
or up-and-down repeated movement.
Shout (v): to speak with a very loud voice, often as loud as
possible, usually when you want to make yourself heard in noisy
situations, or when the person you are talking to is a long way
away or cannot hear very well.
Shady (adj): sheltered from direct light from the sun.
Sore (adj): painful and uncomfortable because of injury,
infection, or too much use.
Sight (n): the ability to see.
Towering (adj): very high and making people feel respect.
Teenager (n): a young person between 13 and 19 years old.
Unfortunately (adv): used to say that something is sad,
disappointing, or has a bad effect.
Wolves (n): plural of wolf.
