Ingredients
•
1 ¾ cups of self-raising
flour
•
1 cup of fruits/nuts of your
choice
•
½ cup of honey, white
sugar or raw sugar
Preheat oven at 200°C.
Combine flour and salt.
If you are using honey make a depression
in the flour with ½ cup measuring cup.
Tip: Refer to image above to show what
depression in flour looks like.
Pour honey or sugar into the depression.
Add eggs, yoghurt and combine all
ingredients so far. Tip: Choose honey
over sugar if you would like to make it
healthier.

Combine butter or vegetable oil
with cinnamon (if using this). Then
add to batter and combine.
Tip: Choose vegetable oil over
butter if you would like to make it
healthier.

Method
•
1 tsp of salt
•
1 cup plain yoghurt
•
2 eggs
•
½ cup of melted butter or
vegetable oil
6 Select your chosen fruit/nuts using
the flavour ideas and mix gently
into batter. Tip: To stop fruit from
sinking to the bottom of the pan,
coat with a small amount of flour
before adding to the batter – flour
used must be part of the total 1 ¾
cups used.
7 Pour into loaf pan and cook for
30-35 minutes.
