Ingredients
•
1 kg beef sausages
•
2 tbsp of vinegar
•
Salt and pepper to taste
•
60g butter
•
2 onions (chopped)
Prick sausages in several places and
place in a pan.
Add enough cold water to cover the
sausages, add vinegar and ½ teaspoon
salt, cover and bring to boil.
Once boiled, reduce heat and simmer
for 10 minutes.
Drain sausages on absorbent paper,
cool, remove skins and chop sausages
into small pieces.

Melt butter in a large pan. Then add
onions and apple to pan.

1 small granny smith apple (peeled and
chopped)
•
1 tbsp of curry powder (or more to taste)
•
2 ½ cups of water
•
1 beef stock cube
•
1 tbsp of cornflour
•
1 tbsp of extra water

Curried Sausages
Method
6 Stir fry until onions are soft.
Then add curry powder and
cook for another minute.
7 Add in 2 ½ cups of water with
crumbled stock cube and bring
it to a boil.
8 Add sausages, season with salt
and pepper, reduce heat and
simmer covered for 10 minutes.
9 Blend cornflour and 2 ½ cups of
water separately.
10 Add mixture to the pan and stir
until it boils and thickens.
Tip: Curried sausages are best
paired with mashed potato or rice.
