of quality health care and related
services, including community nursing
and home care services.
DVA Community Nursing
Program
The aim of DVA’s Community
Nursing Program is to enhance the
independence and health outcomes of
the person by avoiding early admission
to hospital and/or residential care
through access to community nursing
services. These community nursing
services are delivered by Registered
Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to meet
assessed clinical and personal care
needs.
