Service Management
The Just Better Care Service
Management policies and procedures
relevant to your role are available on
the Intranet.
Familiarise yourself with these as
they are the front-line guide on how
we do things. You are required to
follow all Just Better Care policies and
procedures at all times; if you are ever
unsure, contact your Coordinator.
Note—Just Better Care policies and
procedures reflect best practice
and align directly with the following
standards:
•
•
NDIS Practice Standards & Quality
Indicators
Aged Care Quality Standards.
The policies and procedures relevant
to your role will be covered during
orientation; however, these do not
constitute terms and conditions of
your employment nor do they give rise
to any rights or entitlements.
Flexibility and Choice
Just Better Care supports each person
to live their life the way they want to.
This includes being able to exercise
their choices and use support to do
the things that they want to do.
Don’t assume a customer will require
or want the same tasks to be carried
out at every visit. People’s needs
change and occasionally a customer
may ask you to do something that falls
outside the scope of your usual duties,
depending on what they may want or
need support with on that day.
