Using Your Own Mobile Phone for
My JBC App and Mobile App
Just Better Care Australia provides
two smartphone applications: the My
JBC App and Mobile App. The Mobile
App enables staff to access schedules,
customer information, care plans,
provide customer feedback and record
arrival and exit times. Cost, usage and
safety are your responsibility.
Furthermore, you must:

Follow all applicable legislation and
regulations regarding the use of
mobile devices in vehicles (including
applicable laws around the use
of hands-free devices for mobile
phones)
Ensure you have a fully charged and
working phone while working
Ensure you maintain privacy and
confidentiality at all times when
accessing customer information (i.e.
through Mobile App)
Maintain your own personal safety
when using a mobile phone in
public
Report lost or stolen phones to your
Just Better Care office as soon as
possible if the My JBC App and the
Mobile App was installed on
the phone
Provide paper timesheets for visits
where the Mobile App cannot be
used for reasons such as flat battery,
lost, stolen or forgotten mobile
phone
Not share your username or
password with any other person

Follow the directives of your local
office with regards to starting and
completing visits using the Mobile
App
Record information (including
customer feedback) in an objective
and respectful manner at all times,
ensuring you report facts and not
opinions
Be aware that all notes entered into
the Mobile App and the Intranet can
be summonsed by courts of law in
Australia.
