Breaking the Curse of Poverty  David K. Owusu

               e) The fruits of their field are constantly destroyed

The Bible says in Malachi 3:11 [nKJV],

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sake, so that he will not
destroy the fruit of your ground….”

When you do not pay tithe, you may work hard, start projects, or
even relationships; and just when they mature, when the fruit is
ready for harvest, when the house is built, when everything is set
for you to enjoy; someone else comes and takes over what you have
labored for, something goes wrong and you do not eat the fruit of
               your labor.

               f) They suffer barrenness

The Bible says in Malachi 3:11[nKJV],

“….nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the
                  field….”

When you do not pay tithe, you suffer barrenness or are unfruitful
because the devourer destroys the seed of your labor or whatever
else you do at its infancy. You start something and before it even
               takes off it dies.

               g) Non-tithers are disconnected from God

The Bible says in Malachi 3:7-8[nIV]

“Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away
from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will
return to you,” says the Lord Almighty” “But you ask, ‘How are
