The Bible tells us to bring the whole tithe into the storehouse.
The question then begs, what does the Bible mean by the
storehouse?
A storehouse, in the natural realm, is basically two things:
• It is the place where we get our food
• It is the place we obtain seed to sow for future harvest
As Christians, we receive our spiritual food from a certain source or
sources; and we probably receive seed to sow in the lives of others
from the same source.
Wherever that source is for you, is your storehouse – and that is
where you need to pay your tithe.
Your storehouse is where you are spiritually fed. If you belong to a
local church where you are spiritually fed then that is your storehouse.
However, if there is a different source where you get your spiritual
nourishment that is where you should be faithful to pay your tithe.
In other words where you get your spiritual nourishment is your
store house.
Unfortunately, some Christians today do not have a local church
where they get their spiritual nourishment. They must consider the
source of their spiritual food and their seed for future harvest and
pay their tithe there.
To further illustrate this point, just like you go to a restaurant, have
a meal and pay the bill at the same restaurant; it equally makes
