Redemptive Plan Of God In Tithing

               • Tithing releases your prosperity: As you honour the Lord through
your tithe, He causes you to dwell in prosperity.
               • Tithing releases your blessings in the spirit realm. When Abraham
went to war and returned with great spoils, he released a tenth
of what he had to Melchizedek, the priest of the Most High
God. After the release of his tithe, God blessed Abraham in gold
and silver, and he also got a child. Abraham’s tithe released his
blessing from the spiritual realm – by the reason of the spoken
word of Melchizedek, who was God’s servant.

The Bible says in Hebrews 7:5-6,

“Now the Law requires the descendants of Levi who became
priests to collect a tenth from the people – that is, their brothers
                  – even though their brothers are descended from Abraham. This
man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected
a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.

And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater.”

               • Abraham gave to Melchizedek out of understanding that
Melchizedek was greater than him and therefore could bless
                  him.
               • When you give tithe to a Man of God, because the anointing on
his life is greater than yours you attract the grace upon his life. In
Hebrews 7:6b and without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the
                  greater.”

This goes to say that only a Man of God is supposed to take your
tithe, because he has the spiritual mandate to speak a blessing over
you. Anyone else who receives a tithe calls a curse upon himself
According to the scripture numbers 18:21 (nKJV)
