Breaking the Curse of Poverty  David K. Owusu

21 “Behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel
as [a]an inheritance in return for the work which they perform,
the work of the tabernacle of meeting.

According to the scripture the tithe belongs to the Levites where in
this case it’s the man of God.

8 The priests who collect tithes are men who die, so Melchizedek

is greater than they are, because we are told that he lives on.
                  Hebrews 7:8 (NLT)

When you release a tenth of your income to the Lord, you have
sown a seed for what you have gotten. The Lord makes sure the
tenth that you give to Him becomes a seed that will release a harvest
               on your behalf.

               • Godly prosperity comes through the basic principle of sowing
                  and reaping.

The bible says in Malachi 3:10 [nIV]

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food
                  in my house.”

This shows that the tithe belongs to the Lord, and therefore should
