I didn’t know art people growing up, or until quite after I was mostly grown. Between those points I apparently found
something of a muse in Hilary’s uncompromising distinctness. I did not develop my technical skill much but I think the
ideas are more important, even if they are very stupid. Hilary helped me want to be stupid in a new way.
