P. 11
You’ve planted me in the skin of the Earth
Hoping someday I will grow
That will replenish the emptiness of your
heart
That day by day, you let the hellfire’s
glow
A nurturing kiss from a burning devil’s
pit
Since for you, it’s just for a show
Then watered me with all those filthy
words you spit
And drowned me with my own primordial
tears
To satisfy you, the paradigm of being a
hypocrite
And you let me inhale disgusting air
Suffocating my lungs with hazy thoughts
Just to amuse your shameless affair
Now, you’ve left me with a bloody note
Striking my fragile disenchanted soul
That’s not what I want, not the thing I’ve
sought
Is it because I’m not worthy enough for
you to crawl?
To look at me like a living creature
creeping on dirt
I’m just nobody that you desert to fall
And you forbid me to grow in an immortal
mirth
But then again, without uttering a single
word
You’ve planted me in the skin of the earth
