As you sit there regretting the times you

There’s always a person there for you
Prepared to help you in the inside

You’re always feeling blue
Never looked at the person to your left
or right
They can’t help you because you never
knew

You’re scared to ask because they might
get a fright
But in reality, they were waiting for you
to ask
They are waiting for you to help you with
your fight

They are more than willing to get rid of
your mask
And replace it with a genuine smile
They are there until you unmask

They say throw every bad thought into the
dirt pile
Let all your thoughts out show the smile
you always had
They are there to walk with you in every
mile

Family and friends are your companions,
clowns, the ones to make you glad
I hope you'd realize soon enough that you
already forgot the word, "sad"
