BOPIS Curbside Operational Guide

                                          Safety Guidelines

                                         Safety Takeaways

        • Washing your hands is one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of
COVID19. Associates are encouraged to wash their hands as frequently as needed, but
must do so once every 30 minutes

        • For your health and safety, a face covering is mandatory. A face covering will
be provided to all associates . If you bring a face covering from home, it should adhere
to the CDC guidelines ( Details on page 12 )

        • Gloves will be provided but are not mandatory. If not wearing gloves,
associates must follow CDC guidelines of frequent hand washing lasting at least 20
           seconds once every 30 minutes
        • Associates must maintain at least 6 feet of social distance from each other
           and guests at all times.
        • If an associate feels ill, they must report it to their manager immediately and
           discontinue working.

                                              Hand Washing
         Guidelines from the CDC
According to medical professionals, frequent handwashing is just as effective as wearing gloves to
prevent transmission of COVID-19. Wearing gloves may lead to a false sense of security. While
there is no evidence that they will help prevent infection, associates who choose to wear gloves
(provided) should still wash their hands 2-3 times an hour.
Follow these five steps every time:
           1. Wet your hands with clean, running water, turn off the tap, and apply soap.
           2. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of
your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
           3. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday”
song from the beginning to end twice.
           4. Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
           5. Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them. Use the towel to turn off the
water and to open the door when leaving.

         Using Hand Sanitizer
Washing hands with soap and water is the best way to get rid of germs in most
situations. If soap and water are not readily available, you can use an alcohol-based hand
sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Follow these steps to effectively use hand sanitizers:
           1. Apply the gel product to the palm of one hand (read the label for the correct
               amount to apply).
           2. Rub your hands together.
           3. Rub the gel over the surfaces of your hands and fingers until your hands are dry.
This should take approximately 20 seconds.
