Safety Guidelines

Reusable Face Mask Process

• Read the face covering training document and sign off training is complete
• Use a permanent marker to write your name on each of the masks
• Do not decorate or alter the mask
• Keep all masks at the store and do not take home
• Remove your masks when you finish your shift and place in the store washing machine,
which will have its door open
• Washing machines are to be run the following morning and masks are to be air dried
Note: In the future stores may be sent disposable face masks for use.

Face Covering Masks Do’s and Don’ts

Keep it clean.
Read the directions provided to you on use of the mask.
Put it on properly and adjust it as necessary throughout the day.
Use it to completely cover your nose and mouth.
Wash your hands and face after removing and before touching face.
Keep it on you when not in use.
Request a new mask if it becomes damaged or in any way unsanitary.
Put face covering in paper bag during breaks and meals.

DON’T

Let it obstruct your vision.
Wear it if it causes any difficulty in your ability to breathe.
Wear it if it causes your safety glasses or reading glasses to
fog up/impair vision.
Let it hang down around your neck.
Lay it on a surface where it may contaminate the surface.
Lay it on a surface where it may be contaminated.
Wear it where it may create a hazard while performing work.
Use it if it is damaged in any way.
