BOPIS Curbside Operational Guide

                                          Safety Guidelines

                             Safety Requirement / Best Practices

Gloves and masks or face coverings are a supplemental measure to help protect our
associates from potential exposure to coronavirus infection. They do not replace the need
to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, which include:
social distancing, hand washing, avoiding touching your face, and cleaning surfaces.

For your health and safety, a face covering is mandatory.
A face covering will be provided to all associates.

How to Put On & Wear Masks

 Before touching the mask, clean hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
 Take the mask, holding it by the ear loops or elastic band
 Inspect the mask for tears or holes, replace if there are
 Orient which side is the top side (where the flexible/stiff strip is)
 Ensure the proper side of the mask faces outwards, if mask is flat
 Take the ear loops and place on the ears, one at a time/take the elastic band and
place behind your head, depending which type of mask you have
 Place the mask to your face, pinching the flexible/stiff strip of the mask so it molds
to the shape of your nose
 Pull down the mask’s bottom so it covers your mouth and chin
 Disposable, single use face masks should be thrown away at the end of shift
 Reusable face masks need to be maintained per their manufacturer’s instructions
         Cloth Face Coverings

If you bring a face covering from home, it should adhere to the CDC guidelines and
         meet the following requirements:
 Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of your face
 Cover your nose and mouth
 Be secured with ties or ear loops
 Include multiple layers of fabric
 Allow for breathing without restriction
 Be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape
 Does not hang down (to avoid getting caught on items)
 Cloth face coverings should be frequently cleaned in the washing machine on hot setting

How to Remove Masks & Face Coverings

To take off, remove the ear loop from the ears or the band from the back of your head
while keeping the mask away from your face and clothes and without touching the front
part of mask. After removing mask, be sure to wash your hands or use alcohol-based
         hand sanitizer.
If you took off the mask for break or meals and will be returning to your work area, place
the mask/face covering in the supplied paper bag while not using and follow the
instructions on how to put the mask on.
